Fall Into November: Your Central Texas Event Guide
Hi, friends —
November might be my favorite month in Central Texas. The mornings finally turn crisp, the afternoons stay sunny and warm, and the calendar fills up with festivals, concerts, and community traditions across Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties. Whether you've lived here for decades or just unpacked your last box, there's no better way to fall in love with your neighborhood than getting out and enjoying it.
Each month, our friends at Texas National Title put together a calendar of the best events around the region, and I'm so grateful they let me share it with you. Here's what's happening this November.
Mark Your Calendar
- Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11. A day to thank the veterans and military families who make our community stronger.
- Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26. From our family to yours, we're thankful for each of you.
Christi's Picks
If you only make it to a few events this month, here's where I'd start:
- Free and family-friendly: the Texas Book Festival at the Capitol (Nov. 7–8)
- Best date night: An Evening with Yo-Yo Ma at ACL Live (Nov. 18)
- Best with the kids: Fossil Fest in Round Rock (Nov. 7–8) or Creek Show on Waterloo Greenway (Nov. 13–21)
- Best road trip: Wurstfest in New Braunfels or Texas Monthly BBQ Fest in Lockhart
- Best way to earn your pie: the Thundercloud Subs Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning

Thinking About a Move This Season?
Events like these are one of the best ways to get a feel for a community before you call it home. Spend a Saturday at Fossil Fest in Round Rock, walk the Waterloo Greenway during Creek Show, or take a drive out to the Hill Country, and you'll learn more about a neighborhood than any listing can tell you. If you're curious about what homes look like in the areas you're exploring, or what your own home might be worth heading into the new year, I'd love to help. Fall is a wonderful time to make a plan.
