Taylor Is Growing: Community, Business & Events to Know This Fall

Taylor, Texas continues to build momentum — and we’re proud to be part of it.

The Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce’s September 18, 2026 newsletter highlights what makes Taylor such an interesting place right now: expanding business activity, community investment, local events, workforce development, and a strong sense of connection among the people and organizations helping shape the city’s future.

For the Christi Davidson Real Estate Group, this one is especially meaningful. We’re pleased to officially join the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce and continue deepening our involvement in the community Christi has known for decades.

The Chamber welcomed Christi Davidson Real Estate Group among its newest members, describing Christi as a top-producing Broker Associate and trusted real estate advisor serving Greater Austin and Taylor for nearly three decades.

A Growing Business Community

Taylor’s growth is showing up in more than residential development.

The Chamber’s newest-member section reflects a broadening local economy, including organizations involved in data center infrastructure, banking, real estate, technology, professional services and other growing business sectors.

That diversity matters.

As Taylor continues attracting employers, investment and new residents, the community is becoming increasingly connected to the larger Central Texas economic corridor while maintaining the identity that has always made Taylor unique.

For buyers, sellers, investors and companies relocating employees into the area, that combination can create interesting opportunities.

Fiesta Taylor Returns September 26

One of the biggest upcoming community events is Fiesta Taylor, scheduled for:

The Chamber is promoting an evening featuring live music, cultural performances, food trucks, family activities, a beer garden and tequila tasting.

It’s a good example of the kind of event that brings together longtime Taylor residents, newer families and the businesses investing in the community.

Manufacturing and Workforce Development Take Center Stage

Taylor’s continued growth is also closely tied to the broader northeast Austin-area manufacturing corridor.

On November 4, leaders from the Manor, Elgin and Taylor Chambers are scheduled to gather for the 2026 METT Community Conversation, focused on:

“The Future of Manufacturing and Education in Manor, Elgin & Taylor.”

The program is designed to bring together manufacturers, educators and workforce-development partners to discuss advanced manufacturing and how the region can prepare its future workforce.

This is particularly important as Taylor and surrounding communities continue attracting major employers and the supporting businesses, housing and services that follow them.

More Community Events Are Ahead

The Chamber calendar also includes several opportunities for residents and businesses to get involved.

The Taylor Chamber Golf Tournament is scheduled for October 16 at Mustang Creek Golf Course, while a variety of community organizations are promoting fundraisers, local programs and activities throughout the fall.

The newsletter also highlights community initiatives ranging from fitness programs to food assistance, nonprofit events and volunteer opportunities — another reminder that Taylor’s growth is about more than buildings and businesses.

Taylor Businesses Are Getting More Visibility

The Chamber is also expanding its effort to showcase local businesses through its Member Spotlight video series, featuring businesses, organizations and nonprofits across Taylor.

That kind of exposure is valuable in a growing market.

One of Taylor’s strengths has always been the relationships between local businesses and the people who support them. As the city grows, maintaining those connections becomes even more important.

A Chamber With National Recognition

The Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce is a 5-Star Accredited Chamber through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a distinction the organization says is held by fewer than 2% of chambers nationwide.

That recognition speaks to the Chamber’s focus on governance, programming and member service — and reinforces the role it plays in helping Taylor manage growth while supporting the businesses and organizations already rooted here.

Taylor isn’t simply another market we serve.
